Mom just left us this morning, somehow we will have to survive without her!  It has been such a blessing that she stayed to help me with this hernia surgery, we couldn't have done it without her, THANKS MOM!!

Emma Lee Turns Three!

That's right folks...it's official! The age of pink birthdays has arrived in force at the Thomas home. The last two years it was muted, but this year it was full on GIRL - wow! For example, we had the pink birthday cake:

The pink TUTU for our gymnastics class (and the pink fingernail polish in our other hand):

...and finally our new pink hat (just in time for the snow later this week)!

Not shown are the pink sweetheart pajamas, pink baby doll, and pink car carrier! Oh...and there was pink in the rainbow sherbet too :-)

While the boys thought it would be great to use the hair on the doll cake for a candle, we all agree we love Emma, she loves pink, and it's all good :-D. Happy Birthday Emma!

Cowboy bit Allison on the arm today.  No blood, but it left a mark.  

Cowboy Miracle

I am sure you have all heard me tell stories of our cranky, cussing parrot, Cowboy.  Well, nobody has been able to hold him, except Jeff,  because you never know when he will bite you.  (He's mean!)

So while I was gone, Allison decided she wanted to hold the bird.  She loaded a knife up with peanut butter (Cowboy's favorite) and went at it.  Sammi recorded it on my camera while she had the hiccups.  So here you go.... Allison holding Cowboy for the first time.

Sorry it's taken so long to get more up here, we've been busy sleeping, eating, and watching Thomas interact with his new little brother.

This picture is a rare glimpse of Emerson's eyes, they are almost always shut tight. I think they look exactly like Michael's eyes in his baby pictures, little slits.
